The mission of Dominguez High School is to equip all students for post-secondary success in a 21st Century global society through cultural relevance, quality instruction, supportive relationships, and exposure to opportunities. We aim to accomplish this by creating an emotionally, intellectually, and physically safe learning environment for all.

More than 200 scholars from Centennial, Compton, Compton Early College, and Dominguez High Schools had an incredible opportunity to connect with representatives from over 20 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) at Dominguez High School and submit applications on the spot.
Compton Unified School District Board of Trustees Member Alma Taylor-Pleasant officially opened Alma’s Boutique—a game-changing initiative giving Dominguez scholars access to clothing and accessories by earning Alma’s Bucks.

Meet Emily Garcia, Dominguez High School Class of 2024 graduate. She will be attending University of California, Los Angeles in the fall, majoring in Public Health.
Meet Jason Tillman, Dominguez High School Class of 2024 graduate. He will be attending California State University, Long Beach in the fall. He’s enrolled in the College of Business, to develop his entrepreneurial skills. He hopes to start his own business in the future.
